Recipe 1: Caramel Bread Pudding




Although this looks like a leche flan, this is actually a bread pudding.


Ingredients


  • 7 pcs left over tasty bread

  • 5 pcs egg

  • 1 tsp vanilla syrup

  • 1 can condensed milk

  • 1 can evaporated milk

  • caramelized sugar


Steps


  1. whisk 5 eggs

  2. cut the 7 tasty bread into small bite sizes

  3. mix the whisked eggs and small bite sizes of bread

  4. pour the bread and egg mixture into blender

  5. pour 1 can of condensed milk and 1 can of evaporated milk

  6. blend until mixture is well mixed

Baking


  • prepare a baking pan with caramelized sugar

  • pour mixture in a baking pan

  • set oven to 150° and bake for 40 minutes using Baine Method

***can also be steamed at low heat for 40 minutes***
