Yet another book from Filipina author, Carina Gaskell!

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙪𝙥 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧?
Trust Issues is the second book from Invicible Summer Series. It centers about the story of Narra and Theo whom already had good chameos from the first book - True North. For those who have read True North already, we know that Narra has ended her 2 week summer romance with Theo. A relationship which she didn't knew would bloom into love.
Characters:
I can imagine Theo as that cupid cute innocent looking guy with curly hair thanks to author Carina's lovely description of him. But beyond that pretty face is a determined man to get the love of his life believe in him.
Narra is our hopeless romantic fmc who even when she wants to deny it, she really can't hide her feelings for Theo.
Thoughts:
While their social standing difference was mentioned in the book, the conflict it gave them was not too much. ˗ˏˋ ♡ ˎˊ˗
There was a part of the book where feminism was mentioned because Narra said she doesn't dream to be a career woman nor a business woman just like her sister. She dreams of motherhood. I like the statement of Layla when she said "𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚋𝚎𝚌𝚊𝚞𝚜𝚎 𝚠𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝 𝚒𝚜 𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎 𝚝𝚛𝚊𝚍𝚒𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚕 𝚍𝚘𝚎𝚜𝚗'𝚝 𝚖𝚊𝚔𝚎 𝚒𝚝 𝚊𝚗𝚢 𝚕𝚎𝚜𝚜 𝚟𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚍. This novella is short but never rushed. It focuses on the main characters' journey to a happy ending without unnecessary complications. It's a heartwarming, simple story that offers just the right amount of romance and joy. Perfect for a quick, feel-good escape. ̆̈. ·͜·♡
